Great Combo Muzzle device for the money

Posted by Unknown on Mar 27th 2020

I bought this to try out and see if it minimize the concussion of my rifle when indoors while retaining muzzle compensation when outdoors. It’s safe to say that the concussion issue is solved when the blast forwarding cap is screwed in place and the device does its job. The only downsides I saw was that there weren’t any clear instructions that came with the product, so I had to figure out where to put the crush washer to secure the mounting of the cap and the muzzle brake. The device also likes to throw out fireballs when indoors, to the point where it’s blinding sometimes... overall, a good combo device for the money!

    great

i cant believe what you get for your dollar here. very nice. the mfg should put up more photos of the actual item though. its basically a micro break with a shroud. great machining. the brake works when the shroud is removed, but is super concussive. with the shroud on, it doesnt do much "braking", but the concussion is is minimal.

its super affordable. enough that i was willing to run a risk on it being junk. turns out its far from it. super happy.

I'm always impressed with my orders from venom. I always come for something for every build. The brake and comp are no different.

    Linear Comp

What a deal! Got three of these for my builds and they fit and function great. They definitely push the sound concussion down range which is great for everyone at the range. Only gave it 4 start because they are heavy - but not an issue for a range rifle.

    Hybrid Micro Brake Combo

Really great product. I bought 2 and broke one because crush washer was wrong on my install. They say to do crush washer first but I think you get better results is you first thread on the base, then use a shim kit and put on the comp. it’s a more solid set up. A shim kit will run you like 10-15 but it’s worth it.
