Our VDD80 Lower Receiver in 80% completed form, to be finished by the end user. The VDD80 is precision CNC-machined from billet 6061 aluminum at our facility. Billet receivers provide a significantly higher level of quality due to the stability of the raw material. Forged lowers are ideally suited to inexpensively producing products in high volume, but the drawback is poor aesthetic consistency, unpredictable fit/finish and material instability - Say it with us: Billet is better.
- T6 Heat-Treated 6061 Billet Aluminum - Raw finish (As machined)
- Flared magwell to improve mag changes.
- Billet quality in a simplified form factor.
- Proprietary magazine geometry eliminates poor quality broaching.
- Fully CNC machined from aerospace material.
- 100% USA Made.
- Black Cerakote available.
Our goal is to produce a quality product at an affordable price. Machining marks are perfectly acceptable and agreed to with the purchase of this product.
Because 80% Lowers are not considered firearms by ATF, we can ship them right to your front door with no FFL required. Finished rifles must meet all applicable laws and you must be able to legally own a firearm. Compliance with all federal and local laws is YOUR responsibility.
We ARE NOT able to ship this product to anyone residing in the state of New Jersey.
Please note - while many of our customers enjoy the look and simplicity of the "as machined" aluminum, this finish is intended to be completed by the end user; therefore, machining marks will be visible.
Required machining to complete an 80% lower includes: Selector hole, Trigger pin hole, Hammer pin hole, Take-down lug slot, Fire control group pocket, Trigger slot
This product came out amazing. I loved the finish and it was totally worth the wait. I’m actually going to get another one as soon as I am able to do so.
Dimensional accuracy and surface finish 10/10, took a long time to get to me due to the December rush, but the quality was worth it.
Finished one, currently milling the second. Very happy so far.
One improvement I'd ask for, I had to skim the anodizing off the inside of 2 spring holes and the mag catch due to thick anodizing.
I'd reccomend the company open the mag catch release slot by another 50 thou or so, just to accommodate the thick black coating. I had to file it off and also drill out the coating from one of the detent holes.
I ordered 2 of these as "blems" and I can't for the life of me find the blemish. The machining on them is very very good. Better than a lot of other finished lowers I've built. I recommend these to friends wanting to finish an 80%.
Top notch machining and quality. Took a while to get to me but I knew that when I ordered. Worth the wait I’d recommend.
I hope I can find a decent clearcoating solution for this because the machining pattern is too pretty to cerakote or black anodize.
Shipping took forever because of black Friday ordering, but you can't beat $25/lower. Milled the two I bought out with a 5D jig and mill head kit and it went flawlessly. Very happy with these lowers!
The billet 80% lower is an incredible deal! It is very well machined, solid as a rock, and fits all standard jigs and fixtures. I loved the machined look to I de-burred the edges and just did a clear coat. Looks great and functions perfectly!
I purchased a few lowers and was happy with the quality. Same/similar product at a very competitive price. I am very happy with the overall transaction.
Top notch quality! Impressed with the craftsmanship and the customer service. I will and already have done business with them again! Only place I’ll be buying my 80%ers!
Looks and feels good! Looking forward to using it on a 9mm Carbine with Endomags.
